A sojourn — a temporary stay, a little pause in a special place. That feels exactly like those moments we spend along the North Shore, taking in this timeless view.
My happy vision of Split Rock… joyous rose-colored skies over this stately lighthouse. Before I started, I told people I had a picture in my mind of a pink and purple Split Rock, confetti skies— and that’s the fun of abstract painting. There aren’t really any rules… well, maybe a few.
