Modern Skies is a series devoted entirely to the sky — drifting above a lake, stretching over an open field, or hovering along a quiet hillside. Though the clouds may appear soft and weightless, and the atmosphere luminous and calm, each painting is constructed from deliberate, hard-edge geometric shapes.

What feels airy and organic is, in truth, precisely structured. Planes of color intersect and layer to suggest depth, wind, and shifting light. Every hue is thoughtfully chosen — not only to reflect the sky’s natural palette, but to create movement, glow, and emotional resonance.

The result is a balance of contrast: softness formed from structure, light built from geometry, and fleeting moments in the sky translated into bold, modern design.
